The file sizes for Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow and Green have been revealed. Each game weighs in at around 11 MB. So if you want them all, you’ll need to have at least 44 MB of free space available. The Pokemon classics will come to the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on February 27, the same day that the original releases debuted in 1996. In Japan, they will launch alongside Pokemon-themed Nintendo 2DS bundles.

I’ve always hated the fact of traditional Pokemon games only being on handhelds. I always wanted one on a major console (Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale Of Darkness doesn’t count). Though I’m not sure if even a Wii U version would be able to get me back into Pokemon again? I’m getting too flippin’ old. (- _ -)
Get back into? You never get out. Once you leave you’re banished for life. Pokémon should be on handhelds. Anyone who doesn’t understand why needs to think harder.

You can’t out grow a game franchise. Age has no effect on it. As for Pokemon on a Home Console, wont happen. Game Freak stated that wont ever happen, Pokemon was called POCKET MONSTERS originally, you can’t take a home console game and put it in your pocket and carry it around with you, unless you talk about stupid emulators on phones lol. If they moved Pokemon to a Home Console, it would kill the franchise on handhelds.
The whole point of the main series Pokemon games is the fact that it’s portable.

Yes, Green has not been translated for distribution outside of Japan. Would’ve been nice since it wouldn’t have been too difficult, the text is probably largely the same as the other games.
