For those of you looking to pre-order The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in North America, you might want to take a look at GameStop’s pre-order bonus.

Nintendo of America has Tweeted that pre-orders for the game made through GameStop will come with an exclusive CD.

This CD comes with all of the bundles that include the amiibo in Europe, however the CD will remain exclusive to GameStop in North America.

          1. Jaded Professor Ridley Bowie X3 {R.I.P. David Bowie, the One & Only Goblin King! R.I.P. Alan Rickman, the Awesome Professor Snape!}

            Seriously!? Did you double check with the Nintendo Direct to make sure?

  1. That’s BS. They showed the cd when they first announced the game. Everyone assumed it came with the game. Now months later they want to make it exclusive to a retailer? I preordered from Best Buy. Now if I want the cd I have to change it to GameStop. NOA is so freaking stupid. If it’s exclusive, you announce then when you announce the damn thing.

            1. Why it’s not Nintendo — NoA, more specifically — fault?

              I may be wrong, but the way you put your words shows you are in denial.

            2. What… How is it not Nintendo’s fault?
              They made a huge announcement, telling everyone the CD would be a bonus to anyone who preorders, and now, months later, people find out they secretly changed their mind about it and went back on their word. If they were open to make it retailer-exclusive, they should have decided before the official announcement, and not after everyone interested has already made their preorders somewhere other than Gamestop.
              If you really think NoA isn’t to be blamed here, I truly don’t know what to say.

    1. everyone “assumed” cause NOA told everyone that the bundle included it. i also pre ordered from best buy. i wouldnt have if they said the soundtrack was exclusive to someone else. as far as them not knowing? bullshit the soundtrack was part of the reveal. its not like it was an added thing later.

      “A bundle containing the game, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, and the wolf link figure will be release on march 4th 2016. Pre orders go up today. We’re offering the games official soundtrack as a pre order bonus”
      – Reggie Fils-Aimé 11-12-’15

      I guess by “We” they meant Gamestop”

      maybe gamestop is getting a physical copy and everyone else gets a fuckin lame download code. I call shenanigans

  2. Dammit, and now it’s gone online as soon as I saw it. Oh well, I can listen to the OST online thanks to the wonderful people who upload video game soundtracks. Hopefully they gave some of the music tracks a Wind Waker HD treatment.

  3. when they first announsed the game they said all pre orders of the game would come with a soundtrack cd but nothing about it being gamerstop/eb games exclusive so we all assumed no matter where we preordered it it would come with the cd but NOA has decided to go back on their word amd be an asshole and make it gamestop/ebgames exclusive

  4. This might be a problem. They did stated that the it’s exclusive to pre-order, not that it’s exclusive to certain retailers. I imagined some people are piss. That being they should have given more details about the CD when they first announced it.

  5. > soundtrack selections

    It always drives me NUTS when I don’t have a full soundtrack because they are always missing all the good stuff

    1. The dolphin doesn’t even look close to as good as the official HD remake (or remaster whatever you call it) I’ve done side by sides the Dolphins highly inferior. Except maybe their character model for Link, it’s a bit better. But over all the official remake looks better, will play better with the new touch screen controls, being able to hold more rupees, hero mode, less tears of light to collect in lake Hylia, new dungeon from the ammibo (assuming the France Amazon leak is true which, why would it not be) and whatever other changes they make, actually being able to play it on a console, of TV play, Gyro controls. Over all the Official remake dominates in practically every area.

      1. If there really are less tears of light to collect at Lake Hylia I will be SERIOUSLY PISSED! That is one of the few challenging parts of the game, and honestly it is one of my favorite parts of the game. I hope this is not true… There is no reason at all to make less tears of light. How much time would that save? Ten minutes? Twenty minutes? So ridiculous, it better be rumor! lol

  6. Well sorry Best Buy but it looks like I’m cancelling my preorder.

    For those of you who want to get it at gamestop but noticed it’s sold out, you can use this instead:

    http://m.gamestop.com/product/wii-u/games/the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess-hd-with-amiibo-and-collectors-edition-guide/127728

    It costs $99 and comes with the collector’s manual, but you can always return the manual if you don’t want it.

    When Gamestop has bundles like this, it exists in their system as just a regular order with multiple items on it. So instead of it being processed as a bundle, it’s processed as individual items. So you’ll be able to bring your packing receipt and the manual to any store to get it refunded. Hope it helps.

    1. I would but I hate ordering from them. They charge too much for shipping and they even tax it!
      There is just no benefit ordering from them…other places like amazon with prime or BestBuy having GamersClub or Target with their red card and walmart at least having free shipping on 35$+ orders are all better options and worth it.
      Not to mention if you return an item to GS in which you paid for shipping, you wont get that amount back. SMH

        1. Although, the one area that I do think gamestop tends to do better in than most other retailers is pre-order bonuses. They often give you a greater incentive to buy from them. Case and point right here.

    2. Thanks I Pre-ordered. Unfortunately I thought I had Pre-ordered this a long time ago but I never did =/ come to find out today when it’s all sold out so this is my only chance. Still overpriced so I hope more pre-orders open for just the game and amiibo

    1. Man, I hate these NoA exclusivity deals. I think people from NoA wake up everyday thinking “hum, okay, what can we to today to screw NA consumers?”

  7. Anyone who ordered theirs on Amazon – getting the game for $47 – I’ll sell you my CD for $13 +s/h. :)
    I have honestly been waiting for Amazon to get more copies, because I would rather pay $51 taxes and shipping included, than the $71 I am paying through GameStop. That’s 4-5 days shipping, mind you. Through Amazon, I could have it delivered Day One for no extra cost.

  8. Jaded Professor Ridley Bowie X3 {R.I.P. David Bowie, the One & Only Goblin King! R.I.P. Alan Rickman, the Awesome Professor Snape!}

    Thankfully, so far, Batman is the only one defending Nintendo, specifically NintenD’OH! *facepalm* of ‘Murica, for the shitty handling of this pre-order bonus. I wonder who will be the next sucker *cough* I mean, person to damage control for NoA.

    1. SHUT UP! NINTENDO IS THE BEST COMPANY EVER! THEY’VE NEVER MADE A BAD DECISION EVER AND EVERYBODY LOVES THEM. THAT’S WHY THE WII U IS DOING SO MUCH BETTER THAN XBONER AND GAYSTATION 4. IT’S ALL STUPID GAMESTOP’S STUPID FAULT!

      1. Jaded Professor Ridley Bowie X3 {R.I.P. David Bowie, the One & Only Goblin King! R.I.P. Alan Rickman, the Awesome Professor Snape!}

        Oh my god! Bowler AA, is that you!? xD

        This is definitely something that guy would comment with. Minus the punctuation, of course.

        1. Yeah they really do suck when it comes to fees. I can understand the tax, but the shipping is ridiculous. They should have free shipping when you spend so much, or at least give you the option of picking up in store.
