The Pokémon GO session at the GDC 2016 with Niantic’s CEO John Hanke has now been cancelled.
The session was scheduled to go ahead at the Game Developers Conference 2016 on March 14, and promised that “Attendees will get a first-hand, in-depth look at how players are interacting and exploring the world with one another through Pokemon GO, the collaborative approach to design and development for the game and the next evolution of augmented reality and real-world mobile gameplay experiences.”
There is no explanation on the GDC website as to why this has been cancelled, but this may come to light over the next few days.
Thanks, Sleepy
That’s so weird, unless the game has some issues at the moment that might take a few weeks to fix :/
Saving it for the Direct, now that’s what I like
I think they are just clearly not ready for showtime
