Next month is looking to be a busy month for Terraria owners on Nintendo consoles. Publisher 505 Games has released a new progress update on Terraria’s 3DS update and Wii U eShop release.
The 3DS update will likely arrive around mid to late May, around the same time that an update will hit Sony and Microsoft versions. Although the developers will not share everything that they are including, they say that the plan is to “cover fixes to the most pressing issues as well as bringing the first post-launch new content to the 3DS version of Terraria”. More details, they say, will come at a later date.
The Wii U version of Terraria is also targeted for a May release, likely at the end of the month. 505 Games says they are “on the brink of submission to Nintendo”.

Isn’t there going to be a physical release on Wii U? Been waiting all this time for a physical copy, not an idiotic digital download.
I’ve seen physical copies of Terraria. So I would think Wii U getting the same treatment.

My local music store has pre-orders for a physical Wii u version. Doesn’t mean they’ll actually put it on disks though:(
