We found out late last week that we are getting new amiibo figures based on Splatoon. We’ve got Callie and Marie who are the Squid Sisters coming and also some revised editions of the current Splatoon amiibo that are available. We initially only had some low-resolution artwork before of the amiibo, but since then Nintendo has uploaded some lovely high-resolution images of the stylish figures which you can feast your eyes on below.

The splatoon series continues to be the most aesthetically pleasing set of amiibos thus far.
I thought the Animal Crossing amiibo are of very fine quality as well.
Both series of amiibo have simple designs, so details are easier to make here.
I never noticed Marie’s and Callie’s eyes before. What’s up with that design?
Like most celebrities, they are frequently under the influence of something. My guess would be some sort of amphetamine, most likely cocaine, i’m sure the squid sisters can afford it.

I knew for sure I was getting the Callie and Marie amiibo, but I wasn’t sure about the recolored originals. Now I am.
