    1. Solrock isn’t fire either. Just because they represent the sun doesn’t mean they have to be fire. Both legendaries are psychic because they are relatable to space.

            1. stfu moron. tons of pokemon dont look like their type. this isnt anything new, it’s been going on since gen1.
how is slowpoke psychic but psyduck is not?
why is cloyster ice but shellder is not?
how do any of the nidoran family resemble poison? and what about the king/queen makes them look ground?
how does pikachu look electric (when it’s not attacking?)
what in the world is “normal” looking about a porygon or ditto or lickitung?
              why is cubone ground?
              how does jynx look ice?
what makes starmie more pyschic looking than staryu?
              how does exeggcute look grass?

you answer me these questions. then i will tell you how solgaleo looks steel.

  1. I dig the typings. I’m looking more and more forward to this game. Also, yo, Sickr! I’m back after 3 years of being away!

      1. Yeah haha. It was one of the reasons I stopped commenting on here. They still seem to be here even after 2 years, though. But this site has greatly improved over those two years.

  2. rotom in a pokedex… so basically you’re giving us a possessed pokedex. I’m not sure how to feel about that.

    1. Wait, why do you have no username or profile pic? :O They’re both blank…

(Sorry, I couldn’t help myself XD)

I’m more curious about if the Rotom will be a usable Pokémon, and if it’ll bug you every 5 seconds like Navi XD

  3. Anybody else thinks all these Sun/Moon announcements and trailers have such a disheartened and uninspired feeling to them? It just makes it more apparent that these are hasty developed games making use of the current engine to gap the hole until the NX launches next year using Nintendo’s most easy to profit franchise at the moment. I mean, I always imagined this was the case, but they could at least put a little more effort into it… as it is, I’m not nearly as excited as I thought I’d be for the next generation of Pokémon games (actually, will this actually BE the 7th generation?? Or is it like 6.5? xD)

    1. Oh yeah! I didn’t think about that when I made my comment! Again, I repeat what I said in that comment: Are you fucking serious!? What the fuck!?

    2. I think it was done intentionally for the game’s story. Like, maybe each game will have a antagonist team that wants eternal day or night, which will inevitably end up hurting the legendary that they’ll try to exploit to get it?

      1. If that ends up being the case, I’ll be more inclined to agree with the reason for making their types weak to what they are supposed to be representing.

      2. Well
The Moon Pokémon now has a 4*times weakness against dark
        Does it make sense?
Well Let’s keep in mind that Pokémon is a Japanese Game. It’s Origin Country is Japan.
And in in Japan dark is not called dark it’s called evil

But still Stange that it has a 4*weakness to Ghost and dark to is us Gamers

  4. Are you fucking serious!? The Sun rep is metal, not fire, & the Moon rep is ghost, not dark!? What the fuck!? Not to mention the Sun is a star & a star is made up of fucking gas, not metal! If the Moon rep was at least a rock type, I could understand since the Moon is a giant ass rock! Aside from that little annoyance, I like them.

      1. Metal? Shouldn’t it be darkness? Won’t you forsake your metal body once darkness has fully taken over the universe again?

        1. ||Everything exists within darkness…darkness is the absolute truth…not even light is comparable…||

  5. Now the Pokedex being possessed by a Rotom is a pretty awesome idea! I wonder why they didn’t do something like this sooner.

  6. To those wondering about Rotom being in the Pokedex & if we can use it in battle, I expect Rotom to be treated the same way Latios & Latias were treated in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire where you don’t get the Pokemon til a certain point early in the game. When you do get it, the Pokedex will act in a similar fashion to the Eon Flute where when you use the item, Rotom gets summoned to you whether he’s in your party or not. Just think of this as the Soar mechanic of Sun & Moon.

    1. No. Wait. We didn’t get Latios/Latias & Soar til the middle of the game. But everything else I said will still apply.

  7. So this is basically X and Y in a new location? I just can’t get excited over the same pokemon from the last five games. How many new Pokemon are there? Is it a new generation or not?
