The ever reliable Digital Foundry has started a new project looking at classic games of our past to how just how they hold up from a technical point of view. The latest games to be put under the microscope are GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark – two Nintendo 64 classics from Rare. You can watch how they fared in the inspection in the video, below.

Perfect Dark. A game I’d love to see get an HD remaster with better controls. But sadly, I don’t think Microsoft will be able to do it without fucking something up or changing something too drastically.
