North America: Super Mario 64 DS (Wii U) & 3 Street Fighter Titles (New 3DS) Are Coming To The Virtual Console

It was rated by the ESRB earlier today, but the official game listing for Super Mario 64 DS has gone live on Nintendo of America’s website. The Super Mario 64 remake will be on the Wii U Virtual Console. The New 3DS Virtual Console will be getting three Street Fighter titles. Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting and Street Fighter II: The New Challengers will be released, along with Super Mario 64 DS, on August 25th.

  1. I imagine in 2035 we’ll see Zelda botw released on virtual console. I’ll play it on my 16k hologram.

    1. I rather like the strange 1 at a time releases they do. It’s insufficient, yes. But anytime I buy multiple games at a time, I tend to not finish any of them. A central focus, increases the quality of the product. I would like the entire library available so I can get whatever I want now. But it’s not like it matters with NX just over the horizon.

  2. So basically, the same damn stuff from the Wii Shop Channel. :(

Wake me when they finally announce the following Street Fighter games on a Nintendo platform:

-Street Fighter Alpha 3 (NOT THE GBA PORT)
    -Pocket Fighter
    -Marvel vs Capcom
    -Marvel vs Capcom 2
-Street Fighter III: The Next Generation
    -Street Fighter III: Second Impact
    -Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
-Street Fighter II HD (the most recent one)
    -Ultra Street Fighter IV
-An improved version of Street Fighter V

  3. Street Fighter II is a great game and I am excited about Super Mario 64 DS. It’s my childhood favorite and I don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t played this game at all.
