Remember the Satellaview? Probably not, because the peripheral was only released for the Super Famicom in Japan. The Satellaview was an accessory that allowed players to access games Nintendo broadcast via satellite. One notable game was a remixed version of A Link to the Past called The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets. Due to the strange way the game was accessed, it has since become one of the few Zelda games which most fans have yet to play. However, after many years, the game is now available because of the work of a dedicated team of fan translators. The game can be downloaded here, but it requires an emulator to play.

The most recent updates bring back the voice acting. Well, sorta. It’s in English and subpar, but it’s there. I tried patching it in and only ended up with a glitched game though. Maybe I did it wrong.

Did you try Higan? The game seems to use MSU-1, which is a special chip only supported by BSNES/Higan, as far as I know.

The BS Zelda games have been available to play for years,this isn’t anything new.
This isn’t new, but english subtitled, which is new.
Think of it as an updated version. You can watch the youtube streams of gameplay which is pretty cool.

This post fails to explain how this is different than what’s already been available for several years now. I played this game on an emulator back in 2014.
