Nintendo is using the Wii U GamePad controller to advertise for its latest mobile title, Super Mario Run. A Wii U owner in Germany spotted the ad and took a picture of it, which basically lets you know the game is now available for download via the App Store on iPhone and iPad devices. Super Mario Run is the very first Mario title that was developed specifically for mobile devices and is entirely playable using just one hand.

This isn’t even news. Nintendo always sends notifs and other ads via Wii U gamepad if you had the setiing on.
This is news to me ;) especially since it’s not playable on Nintendo consoles.

why are people surprised that nintendo is advertising their game that is on a different platform that isn’t theirs on their platform, its called cross-platform advertising, “Hey if you like this game on this platform that is ours then try our game on a platform that isn’t ours”.
