New Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Artwork Pays Homage To The Original Zelda On NES

It’s a brand-new year in most parts of the world and to commemorate the start of 2017, Nintendo has unveiled a new piece of artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in reminiscent of the original Zelda on NES. It depicts Link in a kneeled-down position with a sheathed sword in his right hand, gazing at the sunset while situated on a flat peak. You can check out the new artwork below and compare it to the original piece above. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is scheduled to launch in 2017 on Wii U and Nintendo Switch.

  1. Happy New Year everyone ! Here’s to family, friends and video games! Let 2017 bring peace and hopes that the Commander Quadraxis and Sasori can get along … And may BossAssBitch remain missing 😋 (Just kidding I miss the little guy )

Seriously though, cheers everyone ! Let 2017 bring you happiness and joy.

  2. Happy new year!

This website has been enjoyable without that commander and puppet guys, let them stay away from this site for the years to come.

  4. Hope switch games come with a colour manual akin to the nes, snes, gba, n64, GameCube, wii days. That also includes this artwork

  5. Ridley 4 Smash Switch X3 (King Kalas X3 is on vacation til further notice...)

I’m so glad 2016 is finally over with. Not because the Switch reveal is just around the corner but because of the amount of notable deaths from last year piled on top of the thousands of others that lost their lives last year. Of course, 2017 isn’t off to a good start for some people. Don’t let the shit that happened this morning bring ya down, Istanbul!

    Oh & nice art, Ninty…
