Hulu for Nintendo 3DS will be permanently removed from the Nintendo eShop on January 11 in Japan, with the service being terminated on February 14. The app enables users to browse through a number of TV shows and titles on Hulu. The dual-screen display on 3DS allows you to browse using the lower screen, while the upper screen shows a focused video instantly. While the video is playing, the lower screen acts as a controller that allows users to pause or play and seek. It can be downloaded for free via the eShop.
So. Does this mean that the Hulu app won’t work anymore after the 11?

I use Hulu all the time to watch TV. Hulu and Netflix were my main reason why I stopped paying for cable or satellite. It’s much cheaper, and I can fulfil to my heart’s desire.
Besides, it’s Japan. They have NicoNico, so Hulu was pretty useless for them.
Not on 3DS at least. I use it all the time on my tablet and XB1.

Nihon (Japan) has NicoNico. Surprise they even release Hulu in Japan in the first place.
netflix i can understand but them having hulu? that is like us ‘muricans having niconico which i dunno why we don’t have it yet.
All of the extra apps such as Hulu and Netflix are completely useless to me. These types of apps are just wasted space to me. I doubt I’ll EVER care about Netflix, since I don’t care about movies.
