First 27 Minutes Of RiME Gameplay

One of the more intriguing titles coming out this year is the troubled RiME. The game is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. IGN has managed to get some exclusive gameplay of the first twenty-seven minutes of the game and it certainly looks aesthetically pleasing to the eye with its ICO vibes and colourful colour palate. Be sure to check out the video below to make up your own mind about the game.

  1. Thank you for showing how stupid people can be with their comments.

Guy says the game looks unfinished, yet, it’s releasing in about 4 more months and has more time to go in development. Not to mention, it looks great.

  2. Collision animation on 3:47
    jump animation on 5:50
general animation and collision detection, limbs through walls etc.
look at the pig on 10:53 defying gravity and a few seconds later a pig walking through sticks.

Maybe unfinished wasn’t the right word but it’s not very polished.

    1. The game looks impressive to me. Sure it could use some polish here and there but I think that’s to be expected since the game is months away from being released. Just be grateful that a 3rd party developer believes so much in the Switch to bring what seems to be a quality multiplat to the system. I can’t wait to try this out

    2. replied to the wrong message and can’t delete it, here it is again:

The game looks exactly the same as the 2013 announcement trailer. That last 5 months is gonna do anything. I’m hoping to be pleasantly surprised when it comes out so I can buy it, play it and enjoy it as it looks gorgeous and is full of atmosphere. Everything I’ve seen thus far though doesn’t just look like real exciting gameplay, for once I think I’m gonna wait on some (technical) reviews before I make the purchase.

  3. King Kalas X3 (Ridley 4 Smash Switch!)

I’ll wait to play the game for myself… If I actually buy it. Not sure right now.

  5. The game looks great, needs a little polish. But it looks boring. Im not big on these type of open world games that have no story. Maybe if there was an opening cutscene that sets everything up? Maybe there is I just haven’t seen it. I would need a lot more convincing to buy this game. You know, maybe a plot or some sort of gameplay element besides picking fruit.
