It Doesn’t Look Like Pokémon GO Will Be Coming To China

While Pokémon GO is certainly not as popular as it was back at its peak, it should be remembered the app has yet to release in China.  However, a comment from the China’s state censor makes it sound like the game will struggle to ever get a release in the country. According to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, they have “a high level of responsibility to national security and the safety of people’s lives and property” and they need to further evaluate the game’s risks. These potential threats supposedly involve geographical information security, transport and the personal safety of consumers. While these may sound preposterous, there have been several Pokémon GO related accidents around the world. However, this is certainly sad news for anyone desperate to play the game in China.

  1. King Kalas X3 (Ridley 4 Smash Switch!)

No loss… For China, anyway. I won’t be surprised if there are dozens of clones already circulating throughout China anyway.
