  1. I wonder how many people I’ll see playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild during their morning commute by bus or subway.

I’ll definitely be one of them.

  2. What bothers me is that only two titles have been confirmed for launch and just a couple others are confirmed for “March”. I really hope there’s more to launch than Zelda and 1, 2, Switch

    1. Doesn’t seem like it. We’ll probably learn more tomorrow at the Treehouse. I hope there’s another Direct coming before Launch.

      1. Hey didn’t expect you here!
But yes, I do realyl hope you’re right. The thing is, they need to announce this stuff QUICK. The system releases in like 50 days and even then, review kits will be sent 2-3 weeks before that so that shortens that time even more

  3. The fact that NBA and Fifa have been announced for the Switch is a massive coup for Nintendo especially in the UK where those games sell like hot cakes for Sony and Microsoft!
E3 is in June where we will get even more games announced.
Cannot wait for the TreeHouse event today that looks a lot deeper at all the games mentioned today!😀
I don’t care there’s not slot if games at launch,I been waiting for this new Zelda for 3 years and the face that I can play it on the go anywhere is just awesome!
Plus I only have to wait a month after launch till MARIO Kart deluxe arrives!😀

  4. Besides Fifa , NBA, skyrim and Redout there are 0 realistic looking games on this list if you ask me. And even FiFa and NBA don’t need top notch grapics. Skyrim is actually a ps3 game updated so this doesn’t mean much eather.

Other than that it looks like a typical nintendo console with loads of cartoon style games.

I would possibly buy : Zelda, Mario Kart (old game), Mario, Xenoblade 2, Fire emblem, Street Fighter, Fifa, Dragon quest and some of these might be superior on my ps4 cause the online community would be way bigger. And the rest are games you would also play on wii or wii u wich i didnt like. Where are the game like GTA,Fallout, Dragon Age, Demon Souls, Metal Gear solid, Battlefield, Call of duty, The witcher, Tomb Raider and so on and so on. Sure we might get some of this stuff in the future but there are 0 realistic games on this list, for more mature people. Ofcourse zelda and mario are going to be amazing and some of the RPG’s but we need way more than that.

    1. Agreed (apart from the suggestion that cartoony games, like in this case Zelda BotW, aren’t for “mature” people, whatever that is). Switch is going to need games like Fallout and Dark souls.

    2. What’s the obsession with realistic looking games? They’re pretty to look at, but that doesn’t automatically make the game good. I’ve found that the realistic graphics only have an affect when you stop playing to appreciate them. Maybe it’s different for other people, but my focus during gameplay is on everything that’s happening rather than what everything looks like. As a result I quickly forget about what the game looks like.

Also, the realistic looking games don’t seem to age nearly as well as the “cartoony” ones. For example, Wind Waker on GC looks better today than Twilight Princess on GC does.

  5. Omega Kalas Ridley X3 (Greatness Awaits at Nintendo Switch & Sony PlayStation 4! Come join us in the Light of Darkness!!)

That list is exactly why the launch list doesn’t bother me. I already see 14 games that I might actually buy on the Switch. And there is no telling what we’ll see at E3 this year. I won’t be surprised if they are still holding shit back for that. If Nintendo plays their cards right with Switch, they, along with Sony & their PS4, could actually make E3 a big thing again for the first time in years! @.@

  6. I’m very fucking excited for X2, Beyond that, I see no reason to rush out and buy a switch. But I’m happy for those who like the games announced?…

    1. Omega Kalas Ridley X3 (Greatness Awaits at Nintendo Switch & Sony PlayStation 4! Come join us in the Light of Darkness!!)

*shoves Dry Bones as a racer in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch in his face* Surely this guy is making it tempting, right? lol

      1. Well yeah, it does. I remember how pissed I was they made me BUY drybones on the WiiU. Like, they knew if they held that shit back I’d have no choice but to buy him later (which I did) Crafty Fuckers!!

  8. You can change Puyo Puyo Tetris release date to Spring 2017. Sega have confirmed this for both the US and Europe. It’s a launch title for Japan.
