Im kind of blown away…..by on game! Just a few weeks ago I was thinking of a classic game,Bomberman 64! I havent seen a bomberman game in years so i thought he might of died off. He would be a great smash fighter as well! So this actually makes my day if its anything like bomber64

Well when I went to GS to preorder my Switch (success, by the way), they had spots for 27 Switch reservations, and 5 BotW Special Edition bundles, two of which got taken by the two guys in front of me (was third in line). It definitely looks like that SE is going to be rather limited.
Success with my preorder of Switch, too. I’m holding out hope against hope that I can get lucky & get myself the Master Edition. If not, I’ll just get the game digitally when I get my Switch home from GameStop. Oh & they only had 2 Switch preorders when I got there! @.@ I was very lucky.
Very lucky you were. If you end up regularly playing Switch and we have the same games, we need to play together at some point.
I’m gonna try & get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 on day 1 so that’s two. I’m hoping Capcom will give us a great Monster Hunter for Switch at some point so that will hopefully make it 3. If they don’t, I’ll just stick with Koei Tecmo’s Toukiden on my PS4 instead.
Same with me on MK8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 (already preordered that one). I’ve never been into Monster Hunter so that’s lost on me. Might get Super Bomberman R day 1 since it’s been so long since the last Bomberman game (never mind it’s by Konami- I’m giving it a chance). And of course I have my eye on Xenoblade Chronicles 2. BotW is a given.
I’m not liking the bad news I’ve been hearing today. I’ve already given them two strikes, one strike for each of the 2 I hated hearing about.

They might or might not let us use external hard drives. As for what caused the 1st strike, I can’t recall. I’m gonna see if I can use WordPress to see all of my comments that I made with it to find it.
Yeah, no external HDs seems like a step back. Even the Wii U allowed the use of those, though I stuck with a flash drive I wasn’t using since I acquired a new one.

So we’ve got the AMAZING Breath of the Wild, the usual Just Dance, and 1, 2 Switch which is… something… and the rest looks like minor stuff and remakes/ports. Hmm…

Yeah I was hoping for a better launch but personally I’ve been wanting a new Bomberman game for a long time now. I kind of feel like I just pre ordered a $300 Bomberman game! lol
But I will say, being able to play BOTW on lunch break (or Bomberman with co workers) will be pretty fun. And then when MK8 Deluxe comes out the next month things are going to get wild. I also can’t wait to be able to throwdown on Street Fighter at the drop of a hat. I see pretty good potential for this system. Still disappointed that there is no word of a new Luigi’s Mansion, but with HD rumble being announced it seems like that game will be, as Quadraxis would say, inevitable…
I actually like that the third parties appear more cautious or rather patient currently as opposed to just porting garbage onto the Switch

It is pretty weak but BOTW is a system seller at least for me.
Once they said we’d be paying for online in the fall, I knew right then & there that it will most likely have what I want since from what I’ve read, it’s very similar to PS Plus & it does say more features will be revealed after release. And watching the Zelda trailer sealed the deal. I hope I can preorder it later. *is ready to go Jason Voorhees on some people if not* @.@

Sadly I’m not a fan of the fire emblem games nor a big Zelda fan. Not when I can still enjoy the open world joy that is Xenoblade Chronicles X a game with such varied environments, mechs, sci-fi, and character customization. So I’m waiting.

I learned my lessons from the Wii and Wii U and I’m gonna wait. (Mind you I don’t hate either console and ADORE some particular games on each) HOWEVER, I’ve learned the lesson that over the lifetime of the console, there’s more of a library to look forward to, as titles accumulate with time. There’s no need to rush for me. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 won’t be out till way later, Mario won’t be out till later, No new Kirby. Splatoon 2 and Arms look good but can be added later on.
I’ll just play more NES mini and my major backlog of older games and wait till the time is right. I don’t see the reason to rush and spend 300 bucks + now internet costs. Especially when the games I’m always interested in come out later in a console’s life. I’m going to sit back and chill.
Thank you for sharing my sentiments. I’m going to be doing the same as I bought a U at launch with many more games that I enjoyed. Instead I’ll just buy the U version of BoTW.

Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK, NINTENDO! Zelda is a Wii U title, so it doesn’t count as a Switch launch title. This means Nintendo has ZERO original games for launch (1, 2 Switch is a demo)! That’s the fucking worst launch lineup of all time! They done fucked it up again! I really want to buy the system, but the only launch game that interests me is Zelda, and I can buy that one for my Wii U. Without Zelda, the Switch would fail hard. Also, everyone who isn’t into Zelda has no reason to buy the system.

I have to say people are putting way too much stock in the launch line up for Switch, though. We got Zelda in March, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe in April, Splatoon 2 in the summer, Super Mario Odyssey in fall/winter, & not to mention they might reveal a whole slew of games hitting in the months between Splatoon 2 during E3. Maybe I’m just blinded by the hype right now, though. *shrug* I hope everyone still feeling underwhelmed or letdown can have their spirits lifted at E3, though. Anyway, for me, 2017 is looking a hell of a lot better than 2016 when it comes to Nintendo!
I’m disappointed if only because the two games I REALLY wanted (pikmin 4 and metroid) weren’t shown. Apart from that I’ll admit the presentation was great and objectively good for lots of other people but, despite my reasoning’s being as petty as no metroid, I’m still personally very disappointed.
That’s not to say I think it was objectively terrible or anything, but I’m going to keep working on my game because there’s still no signs that we’re getting another traditional metroid anytime soon. I’d rather make something than play the waiting game again like with the wii u.
Same here. I want some news on the status of Metroid and Kid Icarus. It’s been too long for both series’. Maybe we’ll get some surprises at E3. It’s not far away.

It’s being made in Game Maker so it’s not a hack. That being said, I’d like to be able to get the feel of the game as close to metroid as possible.

Super excited for Breath of the Wild, 1, 2 Switch looks interesting too, but in my opinion this Launch is a little weak. Where’s that Mario and Rabbids RPG Crossover? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Skyrim should have been there at least. The Nintendo Switch is a miracle, it’s THE BEST console I’ve ever seen and I’m very impressed. All Nintendo needs to do is to fix their LAUNCH, then everything will be ok. To tell you guys the truth I’m a little worried, because like most of you, I LOVE Nintendo and I really want them to succeed!
The only game that is going to sell the Switch is The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Other than that, the others are ‘okay’ bonuses. Nintendo couldn’t even have Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in there? Smh. It seriously needs a more recognisable IP in there.
I’m counting March & April’s games as the Switch’s launch window, so for me, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a launch title.
