The next Mario title is here, and wow is it a unique one. Super Mario Odyssey is a game that will take Mario out of the Mushroom Kingdom in a sandbox-style game. We’ve included the trailer down below. The game will release in Holiday 2017.

P2. Not sure about this one. The gameplay and visuals look pretty good, but the mixture of cartoon figures and more realistic graphics reminds me of Sonic 2006.
I actually heard some other people mention Sonic ’06 i relation to this too, hah. Personally, I’m just happy we’re getting a SMB 64/Sunshine-ish sandbox Mario again after such a long time, looking forward to see this shape up.
This game also seems it’ll be open world, too. Miyamoto did say he’d change up the formula a bit & this would definitely be a first for Mario since, as I said on Miiverse, the series has usually been either a hub world or a map of some kind with levels to choose from. I hope I’m right about the open world part…

I’m sorry if the Switch is worth an arm & a leg in Brazil. Maybe Nintendo will be kind & sell it at a loss in Brazil. The rest of the world can easily pick up the slack.
It’s not nintendo fault though, it’s taxes and bureaucratic and corrupted government. Well, I hope the price wont get too salt here. ^^

This looks fucking incredible. Between this and Zelda that has me hooked on getting my Switch preordered tomorrow. I’ll also get games like Yooka-Laylee and Shovel Knight. Splatoon 2 probably as well since I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about the first. Waiting to hear what’s the deal with Mario Kart.
For a while I wanted a new Mario Galaxy, but this is what I want now.
It was amazing seeing Mario in a real world with regular people. I didn’t even know it was the actual game at first. But I was sure disappointed when they said “Holiday 2017”.
“Let’s add realistic humans in the world of Mario because why not?”
All jokes and minor shark jumping jokes aside, I’m glad we have a real open world 3D Mario game that isn’t like the linear 3D World. This is actually a game worth looking forward too.
Super Mario in an open world! Now this is a nice change from formula, Miyamoto! Loved the use of the hat as a temporary platform to jump on! I was also disappointed by the late release but least it increased my hype for Zelda being a day one launch title.
Now if they can return Paper Mario to it’s former glory, we’re all set!

Looks beautifully incredible! These are the kind of games we need from Nintendo, and why the Wii U fell flat on it’s face. The Switch is awesome baby!!! AWESOME!!! Pre-ordered!!! :D
