Most people I knows with DS’s, 3DS’s, PSP’s, and Vitas aren’t carrying them in their pockets either. They carry them either in their book bags or in special cases for them, myself included. So you’re definitely not alone.
As for all the naysayers and trolls bashing the Switch “You can’t carry it in your pocket”, very few people carry any portable gaming system in their pockets. So no worries about the Switch not fitting in our pockets.

I’d choose those over a fanny pack or man purse any day! And it might just be me but I like them. One of my avatars on Gaia uses those 70 pants that is similar to those jeans. lol It’s like having those on is the same as those samurai pants. BUT WITH POCKETS!!! :D

I just cant go back to JNCO jeans 😅 My mom use to work at JNCO factory in L.A. so i got mine for cheap and boy did I rock them 😂

If u take off the joycons and out them in ur other pocket then it shuld b easier to carry in ur pocket…oh and if u wear khakis to work then u shuld a little bit more deeper pockets.

I will most likely keep the switch at home and not even attempt to put it in my cargo pockets (where my wallet and cellphone are already stored. Even without the extra stuff the device likely won’t fit in my cargo pockets anyway, similar to the guy with the skinny jeans. If for some reason I want the switch to leave home I will put it in a drawstring bag with my kindle ereader. But who knows I could change my mind.
I wouldn’t trust a drawstring bag, I’ve had a few and they can wear and tear quick
GAME is selling a messenger bag for the Switch, so I might get that along with a screen protector.
I’ll only get a messenger bag if it is a replica of the one from Wind Waker;)
I think there’s a Breath of the Wild Tunk styled Messenger bag, that’s about the only Zelda thing I know

It’ll fit nicely in my Endor SW backpack. I can’t even fit a 3DS in my pocket, so this is of little concern.
I’ve seen the size comparisons, I know it will fit in my pocket, it’s only a little bit bigger than the 3DS XL. You just have to be not a total idiot like the guy in the picture – wear something with bigger pockets and remove the Joycons and put them in another pocket.

2.Put the console in your pocket

Considering I can fit my 7″ tablet in my pocket, I should have no problem.
But I surely wouldn’t use my back pocket for my $300 device.

I wear cargo pants and have no problem carrying my 3DS in my pocket, and the Switch is not much bigger (minus Joycons). I could easily have the Switch in my cargo pocket and Joycons in my regular pocket.
