Many of you may have missed this but Story of Seasons is confirmed for the Nintendo Switch. The news was spotted by NeoGAF member Crazy Diamond and was found on the Japanese Nintendo website. The life simulator has proved to be success on the Nintendo 3DS so hopefully the same will apply to the Nintendo Switch version.
Stardew Valley is also coming to Switch so it will be a great console for farm games.

Nice! Dearly missed Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons on the WiiU, so this is pretty good news to me, looking forward to it.
Should be nice to cozy up to as a handheld.
Seeing Dragon Quest X up there just made me think of something… Now that the Switch is region free I’m finally going to be able to get this game even if it’s not localized in the west BUT seeing as it’s an MMO would I still be able to access the Japanese servers from America?
@LMAOSHMSFO: I don’t think anyone knows, unless they already have an import console and the game for Wii/WiiU. You would still have to pay a monthly subscription fee to play, though, so you would likely need a credit card or something from Japan to pay for it.
Since this is supposed to be the real Harvest Moon & not the one made by XSeed which is just Harvest Moon in name only, I think I can look forward to this on Switch. (Still prefer the name Harvest Moon as it’s cooler than Story of Seasons but alas…)
