The upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch will benefit from the brand new HD Rumble feature from the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. This will bring an added depth to the game and having tried the HD Rumble feature this is a rather exciting addition.
Hi sickr
Shweet
I didn’t even realize the Pro Controller had the HD Rumble, that explains the price a little. Does it have amiibo reader too I wonder?
Yes it does!
The NFC (amiibo) reader is actually in the Switch logo.
Yes
I wish the pro controller was cheaper (along with everything else), but when you look at the specs it really does make sense. NFC reader, HD rumble, motion controls.. I need that controller…
Yet it does not have an audio jack…
Its only 10$ more than an Xbone controller, and it has much more technology. I think the price makes since for hardcore fans who understand whats in the controller, but its a bit much for the mainstream appeal.
Batman, I like you. You always agree with me.
Lol
And no analog triggers, so that technology could shove it.
Yeah that’s the only thing I don’t like about it. But unless you’re playing a racing sim like forza or gran turismo, they’re really not needed. Personally I actually like digital more for many games because it feels better and easier to hold down. Idk maybe its just me.
Or impulse triggers.
Ooooo, ahhhhh. Now I totally understand why the game was delayed over and overrr. I’m not sure how I will manage to enjoy Zelda on WiiU without HD rumble, but I guess I will have to suffer through it.
Oh, that irony, sir! ;)
I wonder if they can replicate how it feels to hit your sword in a stone?
I imagine they can, whether they will or not is the question.
That would be seriously cool.
All I know is the WiiU version will replicate how it feels to have an amazing WiiU gamepad experience removed from the game to accomodste the Zelda Bait’n’Switch version.
But a sword hitting a stone would be cool also.
I remember the game pad features being kinda neat when they showcased them.
I guess they just wanted to be done with it ASAP.
I might cancel Wii u version pre order, since I’m not much of a collector.
I really want to try out the HD Rumble. Justing reading about it doesn’t give enough perspective.
I’m actually excited to see how they implement this in Breath of the wild
||It will be a breath of the wild…||
OOOOOH! I was really hoping so because hd rumble really exites me! I wonder if we’ll be able to feel every hoove of our horse hit the ground as we’re riding. Or feel the string of our bows vibrate as we shoot. Idk so many possibilities!
||But most importantly, you humans will have a taste of how it is to really die…||
Kinda dark but ok, im down, lol.
||You have some courage, good, as I’m going to need every warrior against the Xbot disease…||
I’m batman, of course i have courage!
But with Nintendo being so kiddy & protective of children, will they really allow HD Rumble to simulate a body going cold from dying? The might think that’s too dark. Like how Fox cartoons would censor the word death because apparently children shouldn’t know that people can actually die. *facepalm* Hiding something so natural from children is just asking for them to get seriously hurt! *cough* Excuse my rant, Quadraxis…
||Well if High Command won’t allow death then I’ll do the next best thing…||
