STEP ASIDE! The door to the Tomorrow Corporation vault is about to burst open… Locked away for literally decades, three multi-award winning games will once again be available for a new generation to enjoy.

On March 3rd, 2017, with the release of the Nintendo Switch, players around the world can once again experience three classic games, re-united on a fantastic new console from Nintendo:

  • Re-discover 2D BOY’s beautiful and surprising World of Goo!
  • Re-ignite the dangerous and uplifting adventure in Little Inferno!
  • Re-engineer your corporate ascent in Human Resource Machine!

And for the first time ever, all three games will come bundled with their full original soundtracks. Tomorrow Corporation’s intrepid interns have created a new Soundtrack Mode, where players can explore Kyle Gabler’s wonderfully bizarre music in this special mode, available only on Nintendo Switch.

      1. He’s counting old games and ports apparently. (Which the switch has many!)
        Still, these games are amazing.

          1. If you still have your WiiU, I’d keep it a while longer. Granted, you’ll probably get the most trade if you get the switch sooner, but I’m keeping my WiiU.

I’m sure there are fans who will be happy with their switch, but I know I would not. It will be like the WiiU all over again for me since I don’t care that much for Mario (an end of year release) or Splatoon, (a late, late summer release) and I am going to have a blast with Zelda on WiiU. So… Literally no reason for me to buy it. As far as portability, I take my 3DS every where and play FE, Binding of Issac, and a fuck ton of great games. I have had an X1 for nearly 9 months and have been playing all the 3rd party I’ve been missing out on. So yeah, gaming is good.

At least for Nintendo-only gamers, the switch will be a change of scenery. So that itself might be exciting, but once they’ve played the hell out of Zelda and are waiting for everything else…we’ll see how they feel.

            1. I hacked my Wii u and just got rid of my games. So I’ve been just downloading everything over again. Not getting a switch with all the ps4 games coming out right now.

    1. I played world of Goo like a decade ago on my Mac.
When ppl say this, they mean big, exclusive develompents that make the system unique.
I personally don’t need that many games anyways and am cool with Zelda, but I can totally understand how underwhelming that lineup is for many.

  1. The more games coming to the Switch’s launch the better. This is good but hopefully more games will be announced for the Switch’s launch in the coming weeks

        1. I played world of Goo lang time ago, which doesn’t mean too much. It offers an insanely original gameplay mechanic delivered through charming graphics and music that stuck in my head ever since (I’m talking many years now!). Absolutely worth to pick up, especially as I played it with a Mouse and back then I already thought this would be perfect for a touchscreen.

        2. World of Goo only. Inferno short and unimaginative (I thought the ending was going to make up for it, it didn’t). HRM completely lacks substance (pretty much copied from a programming book). Sucks, cause World of Goo was pretty fun and had a good modding community. But, the last two games were made by only one of the two people who worked on World of Goo.

    1. Really fun. You will probably have fun 100% both, because they are designed for people to go back and keep playing until done. The third one… I LOVED IT, but I’d say at least half of you won’t.
I’d strongly recommend the trilogy and I would be all over that shit if I had any interest in Switch.

    2. They’re super good! Or at least world of Goo, and little inferno. Simple gameplay with really nice graphics, really nice music, and some surprisingly deep stories if you ask me. World really recommend these!

  2. I’ve been wanting to replay World of Goo for awhile now. I’m guessing touch controls and JoyCon pointing controls will be options, but I wonder if other control styles will be usable as well.

    1. I don’t know how the game will play without motion controls or a mouse… I suppose the Joycons will work well tho. They are motion, yes?

  3. What 1 game would you all like to see on the eShop at launch that haven’t yet been announced? Mine would be the Metroid (Prime) series. Having them on the go would be a dream come true!

    1. Nintendo First Order Commander Quadraxis

      ||Of course you would, another chance at experiencing my gigantic dark presense again…||

    2. King Kalas X3 (Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4 only because Nintendo are DUMBFUCKS!!)

If GCN VC is a shoe-in, I’d have to say Eternal Darkness. Of course, I’d prefer an HD Remaster of the game with better graphics, to be honest.

  4. Lol … I recently purchased over $100 in Wii-Ware Points through Wii mode on my WiiU to buy a bunch of old games that are not available elsewhere, because I suddenly had the feeling that storefront will disappear any day now.

One of the games I bought was World of Goo. (which I think is on PC too, but whatever).

Still … there are some genuine rare gems in there if you are willing to work with the Wii E-Shop. Arcade Games, Turbo Graphics, Sega Console games … a few rare ones too, like Gradius 2, etc. Twin Bee is … interesting. Zaxxon is ****in Hard.

I wonder how long that store will stay open? I guess, since the Wii is still getting new games (Just Dance 2017), and there are 100 million of them out there, it pays to keep it running a little longer. They got $100 out of me, after all.

  5. Nice to see some oldies-but-goodies coming in time for launch, but hopefully we’ll see some more *new* game announced between now and then.

Also, this makes me wonder if WayForward will port an old WiiWare game, LIT, to Switch. To those who haven’t played it, it manages to mix horror and puzzles together well to create something unique and is to date the only WiiWare game I’ve purchased twice (for two different Wii systems).

  6. How was Human Ressource Machine and Little Inferno compared to World of Goo?
I was kinda tempted to buy them as WoG was just amazing, but they seemed like very little value compared to WoG. I mean they looked nice and everything, but not as a deep experience as WoG was?

    1. They are TOTALLY different games. None of them are anything like each other, but they are all fun and include subtle stories.

Little inferno is a bit twisted. You have to be OK Lighting toys on fire that then simulate the real thing burning. I think it’s funny and fun as hell, it’s just a game afterall.

Human resource machine basically tricks you into creating lines of “code” … but makes it a game. It’s a game for someone who likes to think, finds Logic fun, and likes flowcharts and math.

Again, I think they are all superb, but most gamers will enjoy the first two at least.

    2. Speaking from the future. I played World of Goo a long time before the other games and also enjoyed it. The other two games were made by only one of the two people who worked on World of Goo. Even though I am supposed to be who the other two games are appealing to, Little Inferno is such an unsubstantial parody (it’s a parody of clicker games, by having 5 hours of the 6 be just waiting), and Human Resource Machine lacks any originality (I pretty much played all the puzzles in it before), they are much worse.
