Pokémon Bank has now been updated to include support for the newest Pokémon titles, Pokémon Sun & Moon. To celebrate this new update all Pokémon Bank users will be able to obtain a rare Z-Crystal item for the legendary Pokémon Mew. The service cost $4.99 a year. The Pokémon Company has released a handy infographic detailing how the service will work.
“Pokémon Bank has undergone major updates and now works with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, making it easy to transfer Pokémon from multiple copies of Pokémon Sunand Pokémon Moon—including the downloadable versions—to a single game! You can also use it to transfer Pokémon you’ve caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game. Pokémon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y can also be brought into Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon in the same way.
To celebrate this update, all Pokémon Bank subscribers can get a Mewnium Z, the Z-Crystal that only Mew can use. When you launch the new Pokémon Bank and receive the gift, a new Wonder Card will appear in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game. You can use the Mystery Gift function to claim your Mewnium Z.
Note that this gift is for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon players only. It is not available in Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Also, you can get only one Mewnium Z, even if you use Pokémon Bank with multiple Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games. If you have Pokémon Bank, be sure to use the service by October 2, 2017, to get your Mewnium Z.”

Finally. Now I can actually start playing my copy of Moon the wife bought me. After I wrap up some things I’m doing on Omega Ruby, that is. Oh & after I’m done beating RE7b on my PS4!
And a shame I won’t be able to actually use Mew & her Z-Crystal til late in the game when I’m able to use Pokemon over level 80 without worry of her disobeying me. I think I maxed her level awhile back. *thinks* No, not maxed yet. She’s Lvl 77… :/ Yeah. Still won’t be able to use her for awhile.
*watches video* Oh this move would be so awesome in 3D! T_T GameFreak still sucks for not making the 3D effect an option for those that actually don’t mind the lost FPS.
They really need to fix the FPS problem with Totem battles and Double Battles first. Even going back to Pokémon Colosseum on the GameCube in 2003, there were never any issues with lag in Double Battles, and that was 13 years ago. I assume the lag is a 3DS hardware limitation that will be solved with the next entry being released on the Switch, but it’s still frustrating that a graphical problem that never existed 13 years ago now does exist because instead of continuing to release proper home console versions, they decided to focus all their efforts on the handheld consoles instead, dealing with limited power and technical specifications.
