Some Amiibo Card Art For Mario Sports Has Been Reused From Past Nintendo Games

We found out yesterday that Mario Sports Superstars for the Nintendo 3DS will launch on March 24th and will support amiibo cards. An eagle eyed Redditor has noticed that the art for certain cards has been reused from past Nintendo games.

The Bowser card is of Bowser breakdancing from Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. This was a 2005 GameCube title.

And the Mario’s pitching pose is taken from art in Wii baseball game, Mario Sports Sluggers

    1. King Kalas X3 (Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4 only because Nintendo are DUMBFUCKS!!)

The difference is these are flat pictures that you can easily find on the internet if you know where to look & then print them out for less than 13 bucks. Til 3D printers are cheap & used by even common people, you can’t compare figurines to this.

This is why I hated the idea of amiibo cards. It means Nintendo can be lazy & cheap while still draining you dry for silly pictures you can find on the internet.
