Video: Here’s A Comparison Between Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance On Nintendo 3DS And PS4

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is now available on the PlayStation 4 and includes a number of games including Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance which originally launched on the Nintendo 3DS back in 2012. YouTuber Tilmen has produced a flashy comparison video comparing the original game running on the New Nintendo 3DS against the game running on the PlayStation 4 Pro. Interestingly the original game on the Nintendo 3DS holds up extremely well.

      1. Yea I want to but the problem is I don’t remember most of the older games I forgot most of the story so I started playing the older collections on ps3. Got through KH 1 and stopped at chain of memories lol so I got a long way to catch up to bbs

  1. Seriously Square Enix? Its literally just a resolution and framerate bump. Maybe if this was 30$ it would be fine, but a full 60$?! I thought twilight princess hd was a bit much at 60$ and it had a full texture and lighting rehaul on top of the resolution and framerate bump! And it had revamped mechanics, a hero mode, and amiibo support added! Seriously when i watched it on my phone I couldn’t even tell the difference between the two. Wasn’t till i saw it on my laptop that I noticed the resolution and framerate and slight, and let me stress VERY SLIGHT texture upgrade, but definitely not worth 60$!

    1. King Kalas X3 (Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4 only because Nintendo are DUMBFUCKS!!)

      Kingdom Hearts 2.8 comes with DDD, a game about Aqua that also leads into KH3, & a movie based on the KH phone game about the foretellers which predate all other KH events including before the events of Birth By Sleep. So it’s definitely worth 60 bucks: 20 for DDD, 20 for Aqua’s campaign, & 20 for the movie.

    I’ll get KH2.8 in the next few days. Then I’ll get KH1.5 & 2.5 when their PS4 ports hit later this year. All that will be left is KH3. Hopefully won’t have to wait too much longer for that.

    1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4! Hopefully it will also await us at Nintendo Switch if Nintendo doesn't FUCK things up again!}

      Anyway, the PS4 version is clearer so I can obviously see the HD make over it got. The 3DS version would look better, though, if the video could actually show the 3D effect at max power. Since it can’t, the PS4 version does look slightly better but not by much so I gotta give the 3DS version credit for holding it’s ground even without the 3D effect at max.
