While the majority of the Mega Stones can be bought from the Battle Tree in Sun and Moon, it wasn’t until the release of the Pokémon Bank update that fans realised a few are missing. However, The Pokemon Company has quickly addressed the issue by announcing that each missing stone will be distributed as a gift. Both the Mawilite and the Beedrillite will be given out through an Online Competition in late February. Hopefully, each stone will be distributed sooner rather than later, a lot of teams centring around a Mega Evolution.
That’s stupid. Why not just patch them into the game?
Nintendo/Pokémon company are at it again.
This is stupid/pointless/lazy. There was no reason to not include these in game in the first place.
And talking about lazy.
Mystery gift in general. If these special Pokémon are going to be available at least let me go find the damn thing.
It really isn’t lazy, it’s just odd. It takes the same amount of programming. And why did you include Nintendo in this?
Honestly, it’s probably more work to make them gifts received from a tournament.
i was thinking the same, actually, as they have to distribute them.
What’s annoying is that they don’t let us transfer our items anymore ever since Gen 4. I hate doing battle tower over and over for the same items I used the previous game + maybe 1 or 2 more.
Er, can you just give them to me? I don’t want to take part in a competition.
Stupid just stupid. They should just patch them into the game, all I want is the Latiasite so I wonder how long I’m going to be waiting for that I wonder.
}{ Honestly, it really doesn’t matter… Mega Evolution was kind of an over powered addition that limited team composition anyway… What they did with Z moves was much better overall… }{
And z moves aren’t overpowered? :P
}{ Not as badly as Megas are… }{
Z Moves are barely used in competitive player unless it’s for a move that isn’t strong on its own like Fire Fang. Helps Pokemon like Garchomp that enjoy the extra coverage. Otherwise, Megas are definitely much better.
No. It’s a one time battle move that will most likely faint a pokemon though can be predicted and countered slightly. If you have any volt or water absorb pokemon and switch in on the water and electric Z-moves the’ll be negated, ghost one can be negated by normal types. If you use protect you only take half damage and Z-moves really won’t be doing too much against tanks that also resist. Mega evo is permanent and in some cases changes typing of a pokemon before a round starts so you’re essentially bringing in a 7th pokemon.
Yea I think they honestly just want to take back mega evolutions lol but they can’t anymore too late!!!
We’ve known about this way before poke bank lol. I want mawilite back so my mawile can stop being garbage
All of a sudden, Action Replay 3DS is tempting.
and youll get banned.
Only if you use something online that is impossible to be obtained. AKA don’t use the Mega Stones you hack.
They don’t have to use them. It detects if the save file was altered at all.
Through an online competition? Why? I don’t care about competitive battling.
Ya know. This issue can be fixed by simply letting our Pokemon keep an item they are holding when we transfer them to PokeBank! And when exactly can you get to the Battle Tree? If it’s a post game thing, fuck, fuck, fuck! I want my Mega Mewtwo Y, motherfuckers, so I can royally decimate the Elite Four!
Anyway, can Pokemon be traded between 6th gen & 7th gen games? I got 2 Master Balls & an Ability Capsule I want to take off of Omega Ruby & put into Moon.
Fuck, no more Mega Latios for me. I just got rid of Omega Ruby recently.
And this is exactly why we use powersaves, so people can accesss any event that has ever been and get the goods without downloading within a timeframe. There’s also a lot of events that only go out in specific places of the world. Powersaves is the answer to those who can’t go overseas to attend some random pokemon center event.
