A rip-off of the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive 1-2-Switch has appeared on Steam, which is listing the title for $2.99. It’s called “1-2-Swift: It’s high noon” and is described as a party game for two players but uses only one HTC Vive or a keyboard. Meanwhile, 1-2-Switch is scheduled to launch for $49.99 on March 3, alongside the Nintendo Switch console. You can check out some screenshots from 1-2-Swift in the gallery below:

Personally, I think 1-2-Switch is more of a variety game show than a video game. What’s there to actually rip-off of? A counter for certain role-play?
just some developers that don’t know how to make their own games so they rip off others can’t wait to go back to the afterlife where people like that are not around

Even a game like this must have taken a lot of programming skill and time to put together, at least compared to someone who has no idea what they are doing. Which begs the question: they’re able to put together an entire video game, albeit a simple one, but it was too much trouble to change the fonts on the signs to something less generic? Seriously, the sign itself probably took a few minutes to put in at least, assuming it was lifted from another project; I assume changing the font would have taken a couple seconds at the most.
These things baffle me
The real question is… which game is REALLY the rip off? The game ripping off 1-2 Switch or the tech demo 1-2 Switch being pushed as a game that costs 50 bucks? The answer is simple, really. It’s… *drum roll* BOTH!!!
I think this is a statement on the price of 1-2 Switch more than anything else really.
I think that the developer was making a statement, not a ripoff. By throwing this together quickly and putting $2.99 on it, they were showing that 1-2 Switch isn’t worth near $59.99
