Fire Emblem Heroes Requires A Constant Internet Connection

Just like Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem’s first mobile outing will require a constant internet connection to be played. The news comes from a Nintendo spokesperson at a hands-on event. This was a controversial aspect of Super Mario Run, many players complaining that the game was eating up their data. However, it looks like Nintendo isn’t going to be lifting this requirement from their future mobile releases.

      1. Well they just recently reported that Japanese users that are underaged would have a $100 cap a day with the add-ons. (Although, I might be confusing the game.)

  1. I think the issue with having it in SMR was that the game wasn’t free. This game is completely free (except micro transactions) and so it makes more sense. Piracy is a huge problem and Nintendo should have things in place to prevent it. Plus tons of free to play games do this so its not a big deal.

*facepalm* And just like that, they just killed off a good portion of sales from people that would actually get this. And those defending this because of people pirating, so!? Those people are gonna do this regardless of what the morons at Nintendo do to try & stop them. Just punishing the gamers that actually won’t rob them.

  4. Have fun with: reconnecting, can’t find server, please come back at a later time. The main reason why I stopped playing drm games. AND NO!!!! It was not my damn internet connection!!!!!

But, but… It’s to stop pirating! …. xD Nintendo’s fan defense division will use any excuse to defend Dumbtendo, Nintendo’s inner idiot.
