If you’ve watched the latest The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild trailer, you’ll have noticed some new characters. Eiji Aonuma has explained who these characters are in relation to the story-line, explaining that they are Link’s companions and will help him along the way. He also added that the support you will see them give to the protagonist is “not the usual kind”.
“In the trailer, you probably saw some characters and wondered who they are. These are companions who will help Link on his journey. And the support that you’ll see from these characters is not the usual kind, it’s a bit more mysterious.”
What exact roles the characters will play in the upcoming title has not yet been revealed. If you haven’t seen the latest trailer, here it is below:
