With the Nintendo Switch due out in a month’s time the Kyoto-based company is ramping up its advertising for the system. A number of adverts have been spotted at Japan’s Tokyo Station and they feature games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 all of which are due to arrive by the summer. Not too long for me, trying to catch up on the insane backlog I have until Zelda hits us.
Thankfully not that many time sinkers on the radar until summer.
I’m also playing catchup, however knowing me I’ll probably get only like one thing done before Zelda comes.
5 days into February, or as I’m calling it, hell month, or time slower, or anticipational torture, or death by hype, ect.
Advertising. Just continue to do this Nintendo.

The Xbox Brand is basically worthless and irrelevant in Japan anyway. Even the Wii U has them beat in Japan. If Microsoft are smart, they wouldn’t even attempt to sell their next system in Japan, because it will suffer the same fate as it’s predecessors,

Least they learned from their marketing mistakes with Wii U, at least. And they learned from the mistake of having region lock. The rest is still debatable.
Look! Nintendo do advertise stuff! And look at it! Just wow!… Why didn’t they do this with the WiiU?… Still nothing here in the UK, need hundreds of TV adverts a day!
