One of the more curious titles for Nintendo’s upcoming Nintendo Switch platform is the hilarious 1-2 Switch. Nintendo Japan has confirmed today that the party-type game will have 28 mini games for you to play your way through with friends. Check out a couple of trailers of some of the newly announced mini-games such Wizard and Baby, below.

And, like I said once or twice here, I’m not here to make proselitism, i.e., I don’t want to make my truth the truth of everyone.
Did you play it? Because I did, and while I agree it shouldn’t be full retail price, it’s now here near crap. 30 bucks would be fine for this. But I’m still going to get it because I like to play these kind of games with my friends. Milking is awkward as fuck, by the way.
No, I haven’t played it. However, nowadays most of times we are able to make a judgment about games as:
(i) gameplay footages/teasers are available everywhere;
(ii) previous experiences set the expectations that have to be met.
I understand that minigames have a niche to fill. But since 1-2-Switch is a proof-of-concept game, it should be a great idea it came bundled with the system, like Wii Sports did in 2006.
Bundling a game like this with a console gives the message that this is a console for casual mini-games. That’s an image Nintendo wants to get away from.
Sooo… Based on your comment, one can imply that the Switch was built around a casual-centric architecture.

OMG they did it! They’re asking for $2 per mini “game”. This tech demo isn’t worth half its price!
All I just saw was more of a reason why 1-2 Switch is over priced.

I still don’t think it’s worth 60 or even 50, but when it drops low enough, maybe I’ll indulge… If I have a friend willing to play.

Whatever, though. My PS4, n3DS, & Zelda on Switch will keep me entertained til later in the year when Super Mario Odyssey, and hopefully Xenoblade 2, release.
