In a strange turn of events Konami has announced that the first Bomberman influenced game for arcades in quite some time will be none other than Bombergirl. Yes, Bomberman is being replaced with a 4-on-4 co-op featuring anime influenced girls. The girls also feature destructible clothing. The release date for Bombergirl has yet to be announced.

I reeeeeaaaally don’t think that will work for that franchise. Okay Fire Emblem Fates has destructible clothing, and it works for that game; you’re stripping them of their armor.
Not to mention, now it’s Bombergirl- the implications could not get more obvious.
This sounds just plain stupid.

Why are we surprised? I mean this is for arcades there in Japan, so you gotta understand that fanservice it’s a must on most of the ocasions to appeal those introverted Japanese customers who game there.
Luckily for us here in the west we are getting the real and original Bomberman we love and known for decades.

I know this kind of thing doesn’t fit Bomberman but to equate it to porn? xD Clearly we have some Americans in here that get squeamish at the sight of nudity & immediately equate it to porn when porn requires a sexual act. It’s okay, guys. Contrary to popular religious belief, your head won’t bleed out of every orifice & eventually explode if you look at nudity too long. Or get pregnant or whatever nutjob thing religious parents tell their kids these days.
Why is R on the Switch and not this? Arcades are nonexistant where I live so it always disappoints me when an arcade exclusive catches my attention.
