Portal Knights may see a release on the Nintendo Switch in the future. Reddit user ‘FlyinWhee’, who works for an independent games retailer in Canada, claims that because of a recent ‘prebook listing’, Portal Knights could see the light of day on the Switch. The listing image can be found here.
Portal Knights will be available on Steam on 25th February and if the games’ description is anything to go by, it would be a great addition to the ever-growing list of Nintendo Switch titles.
“Leave the familiar world behind and step into the fantastic unknown with Portal Knights! Play with your friends in this action-packed crafting adventure across 3D sandbox worlds.Craft your adventure. Forge your hero. Become the ultimate Portal Knight!”
505 Games is the publisher who is currently handling the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
My friend bought me that game, and we tried to play it together.
It’s boring as hell.
So what did this game come out on before?
Yet AGAIN, talks about a PC EARLY ACCESS game, finish your game, then port it to other consoles!
I’m thinking you’re talking February 25, 2016. Cause the weblink says it was out on Steam nearly a year ago, and will be out on PS4 and Xbox One.
It was out on steam a year ago, as early access and it still is to this day (I own the game on steam) as it stands, its a nice little game, but not nearly close to being worth it yet.
yay?
What is up with uninspired and artistically devoid main characters these days? What happened to designing characters like Platinum did with Bayonetta or trying to create a simple classic look, like Link’s tunic and hat?
Everyone has a round head with a miis face slapped on top and a generic mage, knight, or stealth outfit.
And look at the bad guys… floating eyeballs? How original… A large dragon that looks like pretty much every other fantasy dragon out there… yawn. Do I see man-eating plants and a suit of armor being controlled by a spirit? hmmm where have I seen those before? *cough cough Mario and Plants vs. Zombies *cough cough Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Zelda…
Good character designs go a LONG way to making a game good. If developers spend time on little details they’ll feel more inclined to make a game better as it has a little bit of love mixed into the equation. Slapping things together shows a lack of caring for their creation.
||This is one of the main reasons to why Nintendo will rise above all again, while our new scientists, having been molded in Lord Miyamoto’s image, the rest will devolve into mindless boring designs anyone can create…||
…is this just a crafting sandbox game? Talk about an oversaturated genre
