It’s The Final Day For Yooka-Laylee Backers To Change Their Platform

Did you back Yooka-Laylee and ask for it on the Wii U? Well, today is the last day for backers of the long-awaited 3D platformer to change their platform. As you know, the Wii U version was sadly canceled, but do not fear as there’s a Nintendo Switch version of the game in the pipeline. We don’t know exactly when it is coming but it is in development by the talented team over at Playtonic.

I opted for Wii U as my platform. What options do I have?

  • Change to a PC digital Steam version (and receive Toybox Plus on PC to compensate for price difference)
  • Change to a digital console version (Xbox One, PS4 or Switch)
  • Upgrade to a physical onsole version w/ console Toybox code (Xbox One or PS4 – £20 upgrade cost applies)
  • Request a refund

    1. Lol so your gna take all the money back that you gave for support and think it’s just gna b fine and dandy ? Nah there’s no clause in there for giving out loans lmao I get you tho I want a physical release as well

        1. PC is by far the LEAST user-friendly platform to play games on. I’m an IT guy and the last thing I need when I want to play a friggin video game is to have to download a driver or fix a fracking bad Windows update.

  1. Pc isn’t everything Sid, you may love your glorified graphics brick but don’t put people down that don’t give a fuck about this console war as it’s stupid and above all pointless.

    1. Just don’t give him the attention. He is only doing this because he is most likely some lonely kid and this is his version of entertainment.

    2. }{ The removal of the console war is my goal… Which is why i encourage the open source PC, which allows for tons of customization to the satisfaction of the gamer without devs having to waste time and resources on ports… }{

  2. Cancelled mine for Switch physical. They already got my money as an interest free loan, and I’m glad the game was made. A little disappointed they didn’t offer a physical release for Switch (no interest in large digital downloads on that platform).

  3. I don’t care. I don’t want this duo. I WANT MY BANJO & KAZOOIE BACK! I REALLY WANT MY FAVORITE DUO BACK! COME ON NINTENDO, DO SOMETHING, YOU CAN GET THEM BACK, I KNOW IT! MICROSOFT’S TOO STUPID TOO USE THEM!

  4. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4! Hopefully it will also await us at Nintendo Switch if Nintendo doesn't FUCK things up again!}

    I’d advise against getting the digital version for Switch because of the limited memory. Just get your money back & save 40-60 of it for the eventual physical release on Switch. Or get it for PS4 & move on.
