One of the big titles coming to the popular Nintendo 3DS system this year is Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia. When the game was unveiled two new amiibo were announced for Alm and Celica, but what we didn’t know is what they unlock in the game. Amazon Japan says that they both unlock a special dungeon in the tactical RPG. What we aren’t sure of is whether they each unlock a separate dungeon but no doubt all will be revealed at a future date. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia launches May 19th.
Eh, hoping for a Switch version at this point.
I better start cranking on finishing up Fates. I take my time with FE games, and Fates was 3 games in one… so not as easy to burn though.
Many games. Little time! D;
Not usually pedantic but I’m pretty sure the plural of ‘amiibo’ is ‘amiibo’ as in ‘carp’, ‘sheep’ and ‘joy con’
}{ Amiibo are becoming more and more useless lately… The special 30th edition Zelda amiibo are pretty much just good as regular Zelda amiibo with a minor food bonus in BotW, and the new BotW amiibo are near $20 a piece… At least for smash I could see a reason why the amiibo content wasn’t just on disk… }{
You buy Amiibo for functionality? If I wanted to USE one I’d need to buy 3. One to store, one to display, and one to loan out.
I buy one to open/use/display, and one to collect. But I don’t get a ton of them. I would likely get one more wolf Amiibo, and if reasonably priced, BotW ones.
Could you shut the fuck up for once? -_-
Oh please no, just let me pay $3 to unlock it and keep your knickknacks, Nintendo. At least make them cards so I can put them in my yugioh card binder
Damn it! Why do Alm & Celica have to look so damn good as amiibo!? D: I hope they aren’t badly stocked. Oh wait. This is Nintendo so of course they will! D:<
Well I would hope they do SOMETHING. I don’t buy amiibo to have them just sit on a shelf looking pretty.
Oh wait…

I’m really annoyed that Warriors is getting ported to 3DS but Echoes isn’t getting ported to Switch. Ugh
