The Pokemon Company has a new Pokemon mobile game that they will be releasing soon. The game is called Splash! Magikarp (Haneru! Koiking), and it will release on iOS and Android this spring. It is being developed by Select Button. A teaser website for the game went live, but there’s not a whole lot on there. It’s just a newspaper article reporting on the appearance of mysterious holes in a peaceful town. The holes are shaped like Magikarp. As for the newspaper article, it publishes witness testimony from a fisher who discovered the holes, and it confirms that officials have launched an investigation to figure out who made the holes.
I get the feeling this will be either a flappybird ripoff, some golf based game or a remake of the Pokemon Stadium minigame.
A game where nothing happens
Alright magikarp! We can win this!!!
*uses splash*
-Critical hit-
Nothing happened
so they have acknowledged that Magikarp is a God and gave it its own game.
Lmao.
Wow Magicarp on mobile before Pikachu. That’s shocking.
Pokemon Company already have a few mobile games featuring Pikachu
I see nothing. Even so, Magicarp came first after the hype.
The Japanese really love their mysteries.
They’ll be raking in the dough with this one
This is… unexpected…

Call me when it has an awesome Eevee game. I’d borrow my wife’s tablet on occasion just to play that. (Eevee fanboy right here!)
Speaking of Pokemon, I need to get back to Moon soon so I can get Megearna before March! @.@
