Ultimate Chicken Horse, the game that Eurogamer are calling one of the best multiplayer games of 2016, is heading to the Nintendo Switch platform. The game, which is best described as a four-player competitive DIY platformer, will also be gracing the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The team is aiming to have Ultimate Chicken Horse out by the summer.
Ultimate Chicken Horse is a 2D game where up to four players place platforms, traps, and other generally hazardous objects into a scene then see who among them can still make it to the finish line. After each round more player-set traps are added with the idea being to make the stage hard enough that your rivals can’t complete it, yet easy enough that you can.
hell yeah! this game is awesome. its like a multiplayer Super Mario Bros platformer but with diy Mario Maker mechanics. I have had a lot of fun with its w friends but as its a pc game atm its hard to get the multiplayer funtion to work effortlessly. consoles, especially Nintendo, will be a happy home.
I guess it’s nice. But where the heck are the AAA mature 3rd party games?! :-(
Skyrim is on the Switch. From Software (Dark Souls and Bloodborne) are listed in the developers. Those are the 2 more adult games/companies. Ubisoft/EA may or may not put some more mature titles on the Switch.
I only know of this game through Videogamedunkey.
Ultimate Chicken Horse seems rather interesting. It looks kind of like Ninja Warrior mixed with Wipe Out. What are the game modes, or is it only versus currently?
Most of those 80+ games in development are gonna turn out to be mostly indie, aren’t they? :/
First thing I thought of when I read “chicken horse” was this video. LOL!
I only wish that video wasn’t so blurry.
I’m SO FLIPPIN HAPPY about this. UCH is one of my favorite games. ever.
