It’s been over 15 years since Super Smash Bros. Melee released on the GameCube back in 2002. However, Melee’s incredible fan base means that new things are still being found in the fighting game. Source Gaming has just released a video about a very ‘Rare’ discovery that has been a data miner has found. While the item technically still remains in the game, this alternate design for Melee’s proximity mines shows that Nintendo originally wanted to reference the N64 classic Goldeneye. Melee was released November 21 2001, 3 days after the game cubes release in the states….
Get your facts straight, this isnt even new.
That’s the U.S release date, but the U.K didn’t get the game until 2002
This isn’t new. This has been known for years.
