It was recently confirmed that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth would be available at the same time as the Nintendo Switch’s launch, however the developer Nicalis has now advised that this will no longer be the case.
The title is still on track to be launched in March, however it won’t be arriving on 3rd March as originally planned. Nicalis has advised that this is “due to issues way beyond our control”.
On the plus side, the developer has confirmed a bonus that will be available with physical copies of the game, with each buyer receiving a 20-page full colour instruction booklet with their purchase. This is on top of the two limited sticker sheets and the reversible alternate cover that come with the launch edition of the game.
huh? that’s strange….
I feel that the full colour instruction booklet is the case of the delay.
Sigh
At least it’s not Zelda.
GameStop has the game launching on March 17th. Not a big delay. Not really even disappointing; I’m sure Zelda can keep me occupied until then.
And the haters rejoice.
IN all seriousness, what could that mean? Maybe company issues?
My most logical guess is the the manufacturing of the game itself.
How so do you mean?
Could be a packaging thing they’re doing since the game is already finished.
Nicalis letting us down??? Never!!! *rolls eyes*
Works for me. I’m still recovering from property taxes.
