The creator behind the popular archery indie game Towerfall has announced via Twitter that his new game, Celeste, will be making its way onto the Switch sometime in 2017. Following the theme of retro 2D platforming, Celeste will no doubt appeal to a large demographic with its catchy soundtrack, colourful sprites and tricky levels.
Check out the trailer below for a taster of what’s to come:

My type of game right here.
Very cool looking game. The mechanics make it standout from other pixel-art games that have become a bit too common as of late.
Lol. This is starting to get out of hand. Every piece of shovelware is headed to the Switch. What happened to the seal of quality Nintendo?
I’m not gonna buy it probably, though it seems a quality indie game. Nice guy this Matt.
The game looks good, but Towerfall would be a perfect fit for the Switch with its local multiplayer mentality.
Looks very charming. I’ll likely get it.
Also, nice shirt, NintenMau5.
Looks interesting. I’ll keep it in mind.
