Amazon has been delivering bad news to some of those who pre-ordered the special Master’s Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Some consumers who purchased the game through the popular online retailer have begun receiving emails stating that their orders have been cancelled. Again, this doesn’t appear to have affected everyone who ordered.

What a disappointment for those people. I wish retailers were more careful with preorder numbers.
true that. could easily happen that if they, like me, only ordered that game with the switch now have literally nothing to play except the launchgames that won’t be sold out on day1 … which might not be an option.

At least they gave people $10. That could be like a free VC game, or a chunk of an Indie title. still sucks tho. I wonder if this was really Amazon’s fault?

Thankfully Best Buy doesn’t seem to br having this problem. ^^;
This entire situation is making me feel like I’m in the middle of take off and other aircrafts around me keep getting hit and crashing and I’m shakily maintaining altitude, but I have no idea if a piece of shrapnel is going to hurl toward me @ any second or not. Pins and needles, boys and girls, that’s what I’m sitting on.
How about you make more Masters editions, Nintendo? The demand is clearly there, we’re slitting each other’s throats to get a special edition since you made so few Masters as it is. Do yourself and us a favor, make more, make them quick, and announce the decision to make more ASAFP,
IKR???? I’m buying Zelda for WiiU, and I’d even buy the master edition if I could!

It’s worth noting that I got this email and immediately checked my Amazon Orders and found out that I still have it in my orders. I started to freak out when I saw that I had an email from Amazon after reading this post.
