There’s no doubt that Breath of the Wild’s map is huge, but that doesn’t always mean a game has a decent length. However, it doesn’t look like the latest Zelda game is light on content. According to an IGN writer, it took her roughly 40 to 50 to reach the end of the game. Certainly a decent length. I was expecting something like Xenoblade X (72 for me), but with all that side activities and quests, I think it’s good.

I don’t get the obsession with games lasing over 100 hours (outside of JRPGs). I wish I could 100% this game in 40-50 hours; doubling that number for 100% sounds tedious, not fun. I highly doubt sidequests and collectibles will be THAT compelling. The main reason I dislike western RPGs. Eh, oh well; I’ll 100% it either way =/.
The producer of the game says it’s possible to beat the game while your not in the story mode.

If a person played 24/7, that would only be a little over 2 days. Not very long when you look at it that way. It only took me a week (maybe two) to finish games like Ocarina Of Time. But I sure wasn’t playing 24/7.
