Rebellion Announces ‘Rogue Trooper: Redux’ For Nintendo Switch

Rebellion announced today that the third-person action game originally released in 2006 will be remastered as Rogue Trooper: Redux by TickTock Games this year for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Rogue Trooper performed relatively strongly when it first debuted on the PlayStation 2. Rebellion issued in a statement today the following regarding when it first released 11 years ago:

“Widely acclaimed for bringing the cult sci-fi strip to life in an authentic, tactical, cover-based third-person shooter that debuted before the genre became the gaming staple it is today.”

Check out the teaser trailer below:

We’re still waiting on a release date but it will be intriguing to see if the studio makes use of the Joy-Con Controllers which could set it apart from the other platforms.

  1. This is an incredibly good sign to see! :D
Even though it’s a Redux of the original game (Basically a Remaster but with some added content), but this is a sign that Switch won’t be missing out on as many games as people first thought.

    Next Stop, Battlefront 2!
