The Nintendo Switch Pro-Controller Works Natively With PC

If you’re looking to find a second use for your Nintendo Switch Pro-Controller then you’re in luck. DreWolf on YouTube has very recently uploaded a video to his channel showing that the Pro-Controller will, without much hassle, sync to your PC via Bluetooth. Surprisingly you won’t need to use a USB cable to pair it up with your desktop.

Take a peek at his findings below:

  1. As a PC Gamer (Who’s also getting a Switch), this makes me extremely happy :D
    Microsoft and Nintendo have done good with their controllers, now if only Sony could release a PS4 Dualshock controller that works on PC without the stupid dongle.

          1. So basically you need added software to get the Dualshock working on PC?
            Do you see what I mean?

            Microsoft’s Xbox One S Controller and Nintendo’s Pro Controller don’t need added software to run, but Sony’s Dualshock 4 needs software to even run as well as a dongle to use it wirelessly.

    1. Nintendo First Order Commander Quadraxis

    2. I used to build gaming PC’s in the old days, but it’s just not worth it anymore (to me that is)
      Gaming on a console is sooooo convenient, having the devs funnel into your hardware instead of playing catchup and dealing with a lot of patches and network issues. (IDK if kids these days have to deal with the networking issues we did back when I PC gamed, but it was a pain in the ass!)

      So. Don’t feel too bad. :)

  2. That’s real neato! I’ve been wanting a controller to play Steam games, so maybe I will be getting a pro controller after all.

  3. Crap. Now I have to decide which controller to use to game on my Surface Book with Performance Base.

    The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, or the Moga Power controller.

  4. I wonder if someone is working on getting the joycons to work on PC. Sure some features will need to be left out for now but it’s certainly possible.

  5. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4! Hopefully it will also await us at Nintendo Switch if Nintendo doesn't FUCK things up again!}

    So I can play games on PC using it? Well if I ever get a PC game, I know what controller I’ll be using.
