A Modder Has Created A Portable SNES

Whilst Nintendo have just released the Switch, giving people the chance to play both at home and on the go, one modder has created a nostalgic Nintendo portable console too.

Twitter user @huxarufaxara has created a portable SNES by combining a SNES console, controller, and an LCD screen. You can take a look at the finished project in the Tweet below:

Although it may not be practical whilst you’re out and about due to its size, it’s still extremely impressive. Let us know what you think in the comments below!

  1. Reminds me of how big the original Gameboy felt in my 10 year old hands, only bigger. If you can pull out the controller, that would make it much better. Also, I’d like a bigger screen, there is enough space on the box. However I wasn’t the one who made it, and considering it is homebrew, I have to say s/he made something to be proud of.
And to those of you posting pictures of the Super Boy, or talking about playing your SNES games on phone or 3DS, I have one thing to say: Did you make your phone / 3DS? Because that is the impressive point of the tweet.
