This year’s SXSW revealed that Sonic Mania has unfortunately been delayed from the spring to the summer, but to make up for this the team has uploaded some new footage from the game. The latest video takes a look at the Flying Battery Zone which makes its return from Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

Sorry to say it but I’m not hyped for this “new” Sonic at all. It looks exactly like the Genesis one and I know that’s the point but the stages just look exactly the same to me lol
It has new versions of many classic stages, as well as several new stages.
They have a llotof new stages trust me the game will be amazing!
You obviously are blind in some way. There are new zones with classy (ayy) animation. Can’t ya see that?
this looks DOPE remixing the best stages and adding new ones is great and yes it’s hitting that nostaglia crowd specifically but it’s working and people like myself ARE very excited with this
