Underwater Glitch Discovered In Breath Of The Wild

Unlike the majority of open-world games, Breath of the Wild is relatively glitch free. However, Twitter user @Swiffy22 has discovered a strange bug in the game. Link may find himself stranded underwater if the player is pushed into a body of water by an enemy. This is certainly an odd glitch, players discovering that they can light campfires and use fire based items down there. Check out a video below.

  1. This must be very circumstantial. I’ve been knocked into water countless times and this has never happened to me. Wish it could though. Could you imagine wading through the ocean other this glitch?

  2. I saw an alternate version of this glitch where I knocked a Lizalfos into a lake around a tower, and he fell to the bottom of the lake and began to run around on the bottom of the lake.

    1. There was a moblin sitting on a platform I could break to put him in water and when I did he just sat underwater, lol.

  3. That’s actually cool. I kinda hope they don’t fix it.

I ran across a bad glitch last night. I’ll try to keep this spoiler free….

There is an island, and to get off the island, you have to steal something from a large creature.

Well, the large creature didn’t spawn. The really bad part, is that I didn’t know he was supposed to be there, because I was trying to beat it without help or strategy guides. – When I finally gave up after spending time stranded on the island for a very long time, I had to follow my sense of reasoning, that there was a critical glitch. “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever is left, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.”

Anyway, I reloaded from the last autosave, and he spawned like normal, and I was a bit frustrated I wasted soooo much time. On the plus side, after restarting, I knew that place so fucking well, I blew through it the second time through. XD

I looked it up online, I haven’t seen anyone else with this glitch yet. Maybe I’m the first!

I honestly liked that island! :D But yeah. I didn’t have this glitch of the monster not spawning.

    1. Same here and it’s really getting on my nerves now. I mean it wouldn’t be so bad if weapons didn’t break so easily but when you find yourself surrounded by a shit load of enemies with no means to defend yourself yeah it isn’t much fun at all.

I love BOTW but I don’t like the Blood Moon very much. I did like it to begin with but I just feel it’s in your face too often now and they need to do something about it.

You two are getting blasted with the Blood Moon glitch.

  4. whenever I’m feeding Link the food is invisible. whatever it is, I can see him eating it but I can’t see the actual food. anyone else has this glitch?

Sadly, it’s not a glitch. :/ I guess they didn’t want to spend time & money to give 3D models to the cooked food.
