Here’s A Short Analysis Of The Music In Breath Of The Wild

YouTuber Mark Brown has uploaded a video on YouTube analysing the music used in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The clip compares the game’s soundtrack with previous Zelda iterations such as Orcarina of Time and The Wind Waker, and talks about how the music is used to create an effect in the game, for instance, having different music for different areas of the map, and the fact that the music often fades out to complete silence. You can check out the full analysis below:

  1. Yeah, this isn’t so much analysis of music as it is some basic observations on the use of music in the game and some older pieces that the game’s tracks sound like/are new arrangements of.

  2. This has some spoilers. Not complaining, the game has been out for a while so it’s ok to post spoilers! But I had to stop watching cause I wanna discover this stuff for myself :). I love Zelda music, and analyzing it is a lot of fun.
