  1. Nintendo has to advertise harder in UK, I don’t know why, but the gamer community there is too mainstream, I feel sorry for them, but the younger generations live in a world of GTA, COD FIFA and repeat.

    1. I’m from the UK, Northern Ireland, and I’m loving my Switch more than my PS4 Pro

England is predominantly a country of Football fans, so we’ll have to wait and see Fifa 17 to see if the Switch version impresses people.

Wales is pretty Rugby Centric, so they’re most likely an Xbox Crowd.

Scotland love PS4 just like England, it’s pretty much a fact due to sales.

Northern Ireland is pretty mixed because thanks to the Switch, it’s now closing in on becoming a split between the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One, probably thanks to Zelda which I noticed a LOT of people here who were gasping for the game, even going as far as to sell their old consoles to get it.

UK is pretty much PS4 heavy but Switch is looking like it might catch up if it too gets CoD, and XBox One… well it’s still doing okay in the UK thanks to the S-Model but still isn’t a big seller.

      1. Thanks for the info. I’m from Colombia, and like the other Latin American countries we are also huge football fans. Myself included. It’s the same in South America, almost everyone that buys an Xbox or PlayStation is to play FIFA, hell… I have the Xbox One S with FIFA and battlefield 1. Is nice to see people like you saying that Nintendo still have a fan base in the UK. Cheers.

    2. It not the case of that it fans, here in UK it’s mainly PlayStation and has been for ever, then Xbox … Ninty does crap here, so many people i know won’t buy it coz “it’s for kids” and “graphix are shit” and so on … Plus Ninty doesn’t have call of duty or FIFA lol

    3. thats because Nintendo gave up on that core gaming market with Wii and then failed to reach them with Wii U. It would help if those 3rd party games were also on Nintendo platforms too…

      1. I don´t really see the Wii as the real “dropball” from nintendo, actually if you see the numbers of sales ( as in vgchartz) of call of duty world at war – almost 2 million, black ops 1.6 million, or several fifa ( some of them reaching the million units sold) the core gaming was supporting it, it was a sistem with several “hardcore games” for players who were seeking real challenges. honestly, i love my Wii U, but it was a console that offered too little and too late…ahhh! and a really hard system to port games too.

        1. Wii had a terrible software attach rate, and could barely move software in comparison to the massive install-base. Betting on those casuals moved consoles and Wii Sports, but the % of major exclusive software sold vs the install base % was very, very poor compared to most other consoles

    1. Honestly a lot of the hate I ming from people who haven’t played the game or that played the early access version. It just seems like a cool thing to jump on a hate band wagon apperently because everyone seems to be doing it. I am actually really enjoying Mass Effect andromeda and while I feel it’s still an 7-8/10 it is one of the better games I’ve played recently.

    3. I do not care about reviews.
But damn is that game bombed with average scores.
There was no 10/10 review to be seen on the critic scores..

    4. Agreed. I Love Mass Effect, but I haven’t bought it yet.

Sending Bioware / EA / whoever is responsible a message. I’ll pick it up on sale, I hope a lot of people do. It’s difficult for xBox gamers, because they are quickly running out of games to play, making Mass Effect a desperation buy at best.

I’d like to see ME:A plumme to let the decision makers know, what they did was not OK.

I think we will see a gaming crash within the next 5-7 years, unless Switch continues to sell and Xbox Scorpio gets a few games. More than two I mean.

    5. I purchased Mass Effect and the game is beautiful. The only ones whining are the spoilt stuck up brats who are never pleased regardless.

Ohh boo hoo the faces look a bit goofy.

      Pathetic just pathetic.

  3. There’s going to be a lot of disappointed people in the UK. Andromeda is a apparently pretty close to trash.
