Blizzard’s online collectible card game Hearthstone has been a huge hit with gamers and so the developers were asked whether the game would be a good fit for the Nintendo Switch. Hearthstone senior game designers Mike Donais and Matt Place said that as the game is on tablets and phones a Nintendo Switch version of the card title would work well and it’s something they may eventually disucss.
“Hearthstone is available on iPads and phones, so it’s a good discussion worth having.”
I think it would be wise of them to put Hearthstone on the Switch. Seems like an easy port and they would definitely be able to make a quick buck. It’s the kind of game Nintendo fans would certainly enjoy.
From all the Blizzard games, Hearthstone is the least interesting!
*shrugs* It’s one of the 3 Switch-friendly games Blizzard makes, is an easy port, and is somewhat popular. Diablo III and Overwatch are the only two other moderately likely ports, and we know they’re looking into Overwatch.
I would like to see Hearthstone and Overwatch on the Switch… Those 2 games seem a very good fit for the console

The one online cardgame I really miss is Scrolls. Too bad Mojang didn’t keep it going.

I could kill for a Diablo 3 port to the Switch. That game would be amazing on the go, and with local multiplayer.
