Video: Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Footage

The latest episode of Capcom TV has been uploaded to YouTube, and it features some more Ultra Street Fighter II footage for us to take a look at. Last time, the footage shared included the game’s ‘first person mode’, whereas this time it is general gameplay including the character and stage select screens.

The Ultra Street Fighter footage starts around the 53 minute mark in the clip below:

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for the Nintendo Switch is due to release worldwide on 26th May, 2017.

  1. I always wished the Street Fighter games had finishing moves. Mortal Kombat spoiled me. Well, back when I played fighting games, that is. Due to having no finishing moves, Street Fighter felt sort of empty. Like something was missing.

    1. Street Fighter II Was a fantastic fighting game. Unfortunately, it’s older than probably most of the people on this site and Capcom have been milking it since the 90’s. I don’t mean all the sequels. Those are at least attempts at new ideas. I mean they have literally been pushing one game from the franchise for decades. I admit, the leap to HD in 2008 was a good step. But then taking a game from 1991, which was up-rezed into a game from 2008, throwing some cheap gimmicks into it and trying to sell it as a full retail game in 2017 is pretty appalling.

    2. Ever since Super Street Fighter 2 the games have had “Super” finishing moves. They are now called Critical Art moves in SFV. They are like fatalities without the gore.
